5. The Cadets - Flower Filled Vinyl LP
Limited Edition of only TWENTY FIVE Flower Filled LPs! Handmade by me and my buddy Cash (Cadets drummer).
Take some musically prodigious teenagers, a healthy dose of mid-90s Merge/Touch and Go/Matador, Surf Rock and a lot of high concept science fiction and you get the long running Florida band, The Cadets.
Conditions on Alpha Atoll is the second full length from The Cadets and part of the continuing story of Darien Coy. Cash and I pressed only 25 copies before we destroyed the stampers by putting weird materials inside the records. We started out just experimenting, using stampers that were made 5 years ago, but never used, and then decided to do an art edition... inserting silk flowers as an homage to the back cover art that features the jungle planet of Alpha Atoll.
A restrospective compilation of Cadets recordings will be coming out soon on Bar/None Records... but until then, this is your chance to get a handmade one of kind, flower filled copy of the full sophomore album. Comes in Gatefold sleeve with Darien Coy Story Insert.
PLEASE NOTE: Filled records are prone to some noise and visual defects. We pulled all the really bad ones, but some of these have light pops, crackles, etc but should play ok and still be enjoyable.

Geoff and I, despite having co-existed in Tucson for 15 years, had never met. Then, by pure serendipity, we were randomly scheduled to be in Kilkenny, Ireland simultaneously to hang out with Mark/McKowski while he played at the Kilkenny Roots festival.
So, I made 100 copies of this single on white and clear vinyl. Mark got 50 and I got 50. And now YOU can have one!

It's time to clear out some space. Test Pressings are the rarest version of every release. There have been some previously sold out TPs pulled from the archives and put up for sale, including some handmade and autographed test pressings. A lot of Test Pressings have been marked way down, some as low as $20.
